MTS launches fibre optic network in Lorette

LORETTE, MB - MTS turned up its MTS FiON Network in Lorette Friday as it continues to expand its fibre optic network across the province.The move allows residents access to MTS's television service MTS Ultimate TV, and high-speed Internet services."MTS continues to expand its fibre-to-the-home network throughout Manitoba," said president Kelvin Shepherd, in the news release.  "Lorette is the twelfth community outside of Winnipeg to receive this leading-edge technology."This expansion to Lorette is part of a multi-year program to deploy MTS's fibre-to-the-home network to over 20 communities in Manitoba.www.mts.ca
