MTS joins Sprint Nextel's alliance

WINNIPEG - MTS Allstream has joined Sprint Nextel's Global Alliance program which will offer its wireless customers access to “a broader range of devices”. The company said that it will leverage Sprint’s handset lineups, vendor relationships and buying power for its MTS Mobility customers in Manitoba. MTS Allstream, operating under the MTS brand in Manitoba, had 438,300 wireless subscribers as of March 31, 2009.
