MTS gets $100-million provincial government data contract

WINNIPEG – Manitoba Telecom Services announced today it won a 10-year, $100 million contract from the government of Manitoba to provide IP network services to government, health and other public sector organizations.Under the direction of MTS, the government will migrate from its current provincial data network to a suite of enhanced next generation network services called the "Manitoba Network".
