MTS finishes $2.5 million Brandon overhaul

BRANDON, MB – A $2.5 million program that involved the installation of 24 high-speed Internet network cabinets at different locations around Brandon, as well as improvements to the existing network of lines connecting homes and businesses to MTS Allstream’s central network equipment in Brandon, was completed Monday by MTS Allstream. “The City of Brandon is growing, and our network is growing with it,” said Kelvin Shepherd, president consumer markets MTS Allstream, in the press release. “These cabinets help increase the Internet speed customers receive from our network."
