MTS expands fibre net to Stonewall

STONEWALL, MB – MTS announced today that crews will begin deploying the telco’s MTS FiON network in Stonewall this summer, with plans to launch new services later this year. “MTS is proud to bring state-of-the-art technology to more Manitobans,” said MTS president Kelvin Shepherd in a release. “With the launch of our fibre optic network later this year, Stonewall residents will be able to enjoy MTS Ultimate TV and super-fast high-speed Internet services.” This expansion to Stonewall is part of a multi-year program to deploy MTS’s fibre-to-the-home network to over 20 communities in Manitoba.
