WINNIPEG – MTS unveiled some new features, and two new channels for its Ultimate TV service.
‘Winter Sports Picks’ is a limited time promotion that allows viewers to watch several sports channels on one TV screen – one program in the main viewing area and up to three other channels at the same time. MTS is offering English and French versions free of charge through March 15.
Galaxie Access allows customers to see the current title track and artist, as well as upcoming music on the Galaxie Music Channels, a feature that MTS says let its customers “access the music they want faster and in a much more interactive way”. Galaxie Access is free to all MTS Ultimate TV customers.
MTS has also added French-language sports channel RIS Info Sports, and GMA Pinoy TV which airs programming from the Philippines. Both channels are on free preview through March 1st.
