MTS employees play Santa to five local charities with $125,000 in donations

WINNIPEG - MTS employees swapped out their work attire for Santa hats this week and headed out into the community to award $25,000 to five charities that each work to improve the lives of children and youth from across Manitoba.After voting on which charities they wished to support, the employees visited Ronald McDonald House Manitoba, Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, Children's Rehabilitation Foundation of Manitoba, Society for Manitobans with Disabilities and Special Olympics Manitoba to drop off gift-wrapped cheques before taking a tour and learning more about the work being done at each organization.The final cheque presentation, on December 9th to...
