MTS Allstream, union, reach tentative agreement

TORONTO – MTS Allstream and the Canadian Auto Workers Union (CAW) have reached a tentative agreement covering more than 500 telecommunications workers. CAW Local 2000 represents communications technicians who work at centres across the country, including in Toronto, Montreal, Halifax, Calgary and Vancouver. CAW Local 2000 members install and maintain commercial telecommunications infrastructure. "This agreement helps recognize the hard work our members perform on behalf of MTS Allstream," said CAW Local 2000 president Dylan Gadwa, in a statement.
