TORONTO – MTS Allstream will install a multi protocol label switching (MPLS) network and managed hosting solutions for eight of Stella-Jones’ facilities across Canada.
The new agreement will see MTS Allstream provide a complete infrastructure solution including a managed MPLS network with operational support, and managed exchange, BlackBerry, firewall, back-up, and Internet services and equipment to “ensure seamless communication within its facilities coast-to-coast.”
"The solution provides Stella-Jones with the business-critical connectivity they need to meet the demand and delivery requirements of their customers”, said Dean Prevost, president of MTS Allstream’s enterprise solutions division, in the announcement. “This is especially important in times of urgent need where systems are required to be up and running 24 hours a day."
For over 10 years, MTS Allstream has provided Stella-Jones with communications services such as local, long distance, Internet, data private line, managed security services, and unified communications at its head office in Montreal.
