Movie Network, Movie Central, Showcase partner on new international co-pro

TORONTO - The Movie Network, Movie Central and Shaw Media have signed on as Canadian partners for the international co-production of The Heretics. The 12 x 60 minutes historical miniseries is set in 13th century France and is based on the Cathars, a ruthlessly repressed Christian religious sect. It is scheduled to go into production in Romania and the South of France in June 2012, with writing and post production in Canada.
