Most mobile devices will continue to be sold through carriers, In-Stat says

REVENUE POTENTIAL has lead to carriers becoming a significant channel for all Internet-connected mobile devices such as netbooks and mobile PCs, according to In-Stat.The market research firm predicts that the number of devices sold through carriers will continue to increase as services are bundled for multiple devices and service prices decrease, due to increased bandwidth from new communications technologies and increased competition between carriers.
