More northern Ontario, New Brunswick communities get broadband funding


Bell to do the buildsOTTAWA – The federal government this week made two more rural broadband funding announcements.First, in northern Ontario, Dubreuilville, Brunswick House First Nation and Red Rock Indian Band will get new or enhanced Internet access thanks to the federal government’s Connect to Innovate program, and Bell Canada.CTI will contribute $1.3 million for the project to improve connectivity in all three communities, while Bell will invest $763,308 and do the work.In New Brunswick, the federal government’s announcement said it will spend $664,893 of CTI money to improve broadband in these regions while $67,300 will come from the Government...
