More ‘Kim’s Convenience’ coming to CBC

TORONTO - CBC has ordered a second season of original comedy Kim’s Convenience, the public broadcaster confirmed Tuesday.A CBC original series produced by Thunderbird Entertainment in association with Soulpepper, the series will return with a 13-epsiode sophomore season in fall 2017.  CBC said the first season, which will wrap up December 27 at 8:00 PM (8:30 NT) with two back-to-back episodes, drew an impressive average audience of 933,000 per episode to date (2+ AMA), with 39% of viewers in the 25 – 54 demographic.“Canadians have fallen in love with the Kims.
