More changes in Corus’s audio division

Corus Entertainment announced Monday its current vice president of audio, Ronnie Stanton, will be leaving Corus for an opportunity outside of Canada.

Stanton took over the role in August from a retiring Brad Phillips. Stanton’s promotion was announced at the same time Corus revealed an organizational restructuring of its audio division.

Corus said in an emailed statement Monday that Jackie Moss, currently the company’s national director of marketing and promotions for Corus Radio and a key member of the Corus Audio leadership team, will be promoted to vice-president of audio, effective Jan. 1, 2024.

“An award-winning strategic and creative marketing leader with almost 20 years of experience delivering impactful results in the media industry, Jackie has helped chart Corus’ brand identities and increased their impact, while contributing to key programming, formatting decisions, and marketing and promotions across the company’s 39 radio stations and podcasting,” Corus’s statement says.

Before joining Corus in 2016, Moss was the marketing manager for Global Television and the brand manager for Global News prior to that.
