Monetizing is the focus of next nextMEDIA

TORONTO – Brandon Berger, director of digital innovation for MDC Partners, will deliver the opening keynote address at nextMEDIA: Monetizing Digital Media, an advertising and technology conference slated for November 27 – 28, 2007 at the Diesel Playhouse in Toronto.

The two-day event takes a behind-the-scenes look at the business of digital media, with a program that features top-notch speakers and in-depth case studies. As part of his keynote address, Berger will discuss the financial and creative opportunities brought about when creative meets digital and brand meets content.

“Brandon Berger has experience on both sides of the table as a marketing strategist and development executive,” says Mark Greenspan, director of digital media for Achilles Media Ltd., producers of the event (the same producers of the Banff TV Fest). “His insight into the marketplace will be valuable for anyone looking to think outside the traditional media box.”

Through its network of entrepreneurial firms, MDC Partners provides advertising, media and marketing services as well as customer relationship management, to many of the world’s premier corporations from offices in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Latin America. The firm’s holdings include Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners, and Cliff Freeman and Partners. Toronto-based partners include Bruce Mau Design, henderson bas, trapeze media, and zig.

NextMEDIA: Monetizing Digital Media is the first in a series of ongoing events that will address the highest areas of growth in the digital media industry. This inaugural, two-day event is an occasion to network with key industry influencers and to learn from creative strategists and experienced brand leaders.
