MoboVivo app draws over a million views

TORONTO – Canadian software company MoboVivo, whose technology enables broadcasters to distribute TV shows on multiple electronic platforms, announced Wednesday that its customers’ videos surpassed one million views in January 2011.

“The marketplace is taking-up our TV and video apps as fast as we can produce them,’ said MoboVivo founder and CEO, Trevor Doerksen in a release. “Our clients know that with our myScreens platform they can reach more customers, make more money through ads and paid transactions, and drive social TV interactivity.”

MoboVivo’s myScreens platform enables content providers to deliver and monetize video on Smart TVs, computers, tablets and mobile phones. The myScreens app lets users watch and interact with video, and provides “digital locker” to store and share their content.

MoboVivo’s apps were downloaded more than 100,000 times in January 2011. MoboVivo has developed more than 50 TV apps for dozens of media companies and earned Top 10 rankings in the Apple App Store, the Roku store and elsewhere.
