Mobilicity seeks further extension to creditor protection

TORONTO – Struggling Mobilicity will ask for another extension to creditor protection as it continues to pursue a court-monitored process to find a buyer.Chief restructuring officer William Aziz has reportedly confirmed that an affidavit will be filed in Superior Court on February 26, just prior to the expiration of the carrier’s current stay.Initially granted creditor protection last September, the Toronto-based company has said in court documents that it has a number of parties interested in some, or all, of its assets.
