TORONTO – Mobilicity has added voice roaming and data to most of its plans at no extra charge.
The new entrant’s top-of-the-line $55 plan now comes with 60 free minutes of voice roaming and free phone protection, while its new $45 per month plan includes unlimited data, and 30 minutes of free voice roaming. Free incoming text messages are also now also included on all plans while customers are roaming.
In other news, Mobilicity added the Samsung Galaxy S 4G Android smart phone for an introductory, no-contract price of $299.99 while supplies last, after which the device will be available for $349.99.
"Mobilicity is the fastest-growing new carrier because we continue to be the best deal in wireless and our new rate card is another homerun for consumers," said chief customer officer Anthony Booth, in the announcement. "More and more Canadians are speaking with their wallets and are making their move to Mobilicity."
