Mike Holmes, company CEO, part ways

TORONTO – Television’s popular contractor Mike Holmes and the CEO of his company The Holmes Group, Michael Quast, have decided to part company after more than a decade of working together. The “amicable split” comes after discussions on the company's future direction, according to a statement released Monday. Mike Holmes and Michael Quast met in 2001 when Mike presented Quast, then a production executive at HGTV, with the idea for a television show that eventually became Holmes On Homes.
