MONTREAL – Groupe V Media has named former Corus communications exec Michaël Majeau as its new director of communications and public relations.
Effective August 7, Majeau (pictured) will develop and manage all communications strategies related to the promotion of Groupe V Media’s properties and its corporate visibility, reads Wednesday’s announcement. He was head of communications for Corus’ French-language division in Quebec for the last three years, and prior to that, was part of the Les Chaines Télé Astral media relations team with Bell Media.
“It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome Michaël to Groupe V Media”, said strategy and communications EVP Dimitri Gourdin, in the announcement. “His leadership and his expertise in the media field will certainly be assets for our organization. I am confident that he and our Marketing Director, Sarah Nguyen, will form a great team that will bring a wind of change to the way we communicate.”
