Mediapro Canada to produce live coverage of inaugural inter-provincial soccer championship


TORONTO – Mediapro Canada announced today its crews will produce live coverage of the inaugural League1 Canada Women’s Inter-Provincial Championship, with English and French-language commentary, for global broadcast.

The championship is “an innovative new cup tournament launched by Canadian Soccer Business and featuring four teams from League1 BC, League1 Ontario and the Première ligue de soccer du Québec (PLSQ),” a press release explains.

The tournament is being held at Le Complex Sportive Bois-de-Boulogne in Laval, Québec starting with Alliance United of League1 Ontario playing against AS Laval of the PLSQ on Friday, Aug. 12 at 4 p.m. ET.

The broadcast will be available in Canada on OneSoccer (via OneSoccer.ca, Roku, Chromecast, Apple TV, the OneSoccer app for iOS and Android devices, Telus Optik TV on channel 980, and FuboTV) as well as globally (via Fox Sports in the U.S., BT Sport in the U.K. and Ireland, Flow Sports in the Caribbean, Hi-Sports TV in Mexico and around the globe on OneSoccer’s website and app).
