McLennan named to Canada Media Fund BoD

TORONTO – David McLennan has been nominated to the Canada Media Fund’s board of directors following the general assembly held last week in Montreal.

With more than 20 years of experience as a senior business executive, McLennan joined Sierra Wireless in 2004 as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary. Prior to that, he spent almost a decade years in a variety of senior management positions within the Bell Canada Enterprises (BCE) group of companies, including Chief Financial Officer of Bell ExpressVu and subsequently as president and Chief Operating Officer.  McLennan is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and earlier in his career spent a number of years in the investment industry as a research analyst at Nesbitt Thomson.

He joins current CMF Board members Alain Cousineau, chair, Board of Directors; Cheryl Barker, chair, Audit Committee; Glenn Wong, chair, Governance and Human Resources Committee; Alison Clayton; Guy Fournier; and Rob Scarth.
