BURLINGTON, Ont. — Motorsports specialty channel MAVTV Canada announced Monday its latest iRacing eSeries, the Ricmotech iRacing Global Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich Tires, will start May 5 and run for the next five weeks.
“We are delighted to be able to continue on delivering live racing entertainment to our viewers,” said Mike Garrow, president of MAVTV Canada, in the news release. “While we are also airing the MX-5 Cup 2019 season, this opportunity allowed us to blend the virtual and real competition as the Mazda MX-5 Cup schedule will follow five venues straight from the real-life schedule for the series.”
The five Ricmotech iRacing Global Mazda MX-5 Cup eSeries dates are as follows:
- May 5 — Circuit of the Americas
- May 12 — Barber Motorsports Park
- May 19 — Road America
- May 26 — Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course
- June 2 — WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca
