TORONTO — Bell Media announced Tuesday CTV’s morning lifestyle TV host Marilyn Denis is launching a new podcast from her home, starting Wednesday, April 1.
“I’m at home and in isolation so there is no better time to start a podcast,” said Denis, in the news release. “I’ll be talking to some familiar people from my radio and TV shows, sharing great stories, conversations, and some laughs. It’s the stuff we talk about when the mic is off and during commercial breaks. You’ll get to know guests a lot better — you’ll be in on the conversation.”
With the help of experts from The Marilyn Denis Show plus new special guests, Denis will engage in meaningful discussions to try to make sense of these extraordinary days, says the release. On the debut episode of Marilyn Denis Does a Podcast, Denis is joined by family therapist Joe Rich, who gives practical advice on the challenges many families are facing during isolation and explains how we can push the reset button on our lives when this is over.
Additional confirmed guests joining Denis remotely for the podcast include Tuscan-based author and designer Debbie Travis, Tony award-winning actress Andrea Martin, New York-based TV personality Carson Kressley, travel and design expert Tommy Smythe, real estate entrepreneur Scott McGillivray, celebrity stylist Joe Zee, and New York-based author and TV host Daphne Oz.
New episodes of Marilyn Denis Does a Podcast will be available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday on the iHeartRadio app and everywhere podcasts are found.
