TORONTO — Blue Ant Media’s Makeful TV is bringing the Australian dog grooming competition series Pooch Perfect to Canadian viewers this month, coinciding with the channel’s eight-week nationwide free preview, which starts today.
Hosted by award-winning actress and former dog handler Rebel Wilson (pictured with her four-legged co-host, Russell the Brussel), Pooch Perfect (eight episodes x 60 minutes) will premiere in Canada on Tuesday, February 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Makeful TV. The channel’s nationwide freeview runs from February 1 to April 4, 2021.
The series features 10 professional dog stylists and their perfectly pampered pooches as they battle it out to be crowned top dog groomer. Each episode, the groomers face a new makeover challenge and their creative pet transformations are judged by an expert panel who decide who stays, who gets eliminated and who will win the top prize of $100,000.
