
TORONTO – Interactive Ontario said Tuesday that acting president and CEO Lucie Lalumière will move into the role on a permanent basis, effective immediately.
Lalumière is the founder and principal of Lalumiere Media, a Toronto-based consulting business specializing in digital media and emerging technologies. Her previous roles include GM French Market at MediaLinx Sympatico (Bell); executive director new media at Radio-Canada; VP and GM interactive at Corus Entertainment Television; and COO and GM of supersonic MINDS.
“Lucie has been a dedicated and active member of the Interactive Ontario board of directors for the past 12 years,” said IO chair Jeffrey Elliott, in the announcement. “Interactive Ontario will benefit immensely as she brings her expansive knowledge of the interactive media and emerging technology landscape to the organization on a full-time basis as our new President and CEO. On behalf of the IO board of directors, I’m very happy to welcome her to this new role.”
Interactive Ontario is a not-for-profit trade association committed to the growth of the interactive digital media industry.
