Love Nature launches on Australia’s 7plus

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Blue Ant Media announced today the debut of its wildlife and nature channel Love Nature on 7plus, the streaming service owned and operated by Australia’s Seven Network.

Love Nature is launching on the streamer today as both a free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel and a broadcaster video on demand (BVOD) offering.

As part of the launch, “7plus audiences will be granted free access to Love Nature’s award-winning series, documentaries and programming events,” reads a press release.

One such programming event is Safari Week, running on Love Nature’s FAST channel on 7plus from Nov. 8-12, which will feature select episodes from series such as Kenya Wildlife Diaries (above), Africa’s Hidden Kingdoms and Waterworld Africa.

Other programming highlights available to 7plus viewers on Love Nature’s FAST and BVOD offerings include Wildest New Zealand, Tales from Zambia and Brazil Untamed.

“Partnering with 7plus provides an incredible opportunity to bring Love Nature’s natural history programming to its highly engaged audiences across Australia, free of charge,” said Carlyn Staudt, global general manager of Love Nature, in the press release.

Gereurd Roberts, Seven West Media’s chief digital officer, said the company is thrilled to add Love Nature’s “captivating programming” to the 7plus service.

“Love Nature’s new and exclusive content is part of our strategy to take Seven’s vast library of premium content to the next level and cement 7plus’ position as Australia’s #1 commercial free-to-air BVOD service,” Roberts said.
