Love Nature airing new docuseries and specials during December freeview


TORONTO — Blue Ant Media announced today Love Nature, its wildlife and nature channel will premiere six new documentary series and specials during its month-long nationwide free preview event running until Jan. 2, 2022.

Shadowlands is a new three-part series “taking place in the remote southern latitudes of our planet where marine life require resilience to survive,” reads a press release. The series will debut Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Love Nature.

Also scheduled during the channel’s freeview are four one-hour specials from the Natural World collection, each one following a different wild animal, including owls, pangolins, otters and leopards. The first episode, Natural World: Owls Behind the Magic (above), will premiere on Love Nature on Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, followed by Natural World: Pangolins – The World’s Most Wanted Animal at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

Natural World: Supercharged Otters will debut Dec. 16 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, and Natural World: Fishing Leopards is scheduled to air Dec. 28 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.

In addition, Animals and Love, “a show exploring how animals meet, mate and in some cases form lifelong relationships,” will premiere Dec. 18 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
