
MONTREAL — Groupe TVA today announced Louis-Philippe Neveu (above) has been appointed general manager of TVA Sports, effective today.
With more than 15 years of experience in the production and programming of sports television programs, Neveu first joined TVA Sports in 2014 as executive producer. During his time at the channel, he has managed several broadcasts of major sporting events and live shows, from the idea stage to concept development and through to final production.
He is also directly involved in business development with the sports channel’s partners, including the National Hockey League, Major League Soccer, the Canadian Hockey League, and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
“As a manager, Louis-Philippe Neveu has stood out for six years now, both with our teams and with TVA Sports’s business partners. Thanks to his leadership, his experience and his knowledge, he has been a key player in the growth of TVA Sports. In addition to managing even more live events, Louis-Philippe will see to adapting the content offer on all the platforms of TVA Sports to better meet the needs of consumers, especially with the digital experience,” said Groupe TVA president and CEO France Lauzière, in an English translation of the company’s press release.
