LoRaWAN approved as ITU standard for low-power WANs


FREMONT, Calif. — The LoRa Alliance, a global association of companies backing the open LoRaWAN standard for IoT low-power wide-area networks (LPWANs), announced yesterday the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has recognized LoRaWAN as an official standard.
