VANCOUVER – Lite Access Technologies has been awarded a $700,000 fibre optic cable installation contract for Delta, B.C.
The City of Delta has been building its fibre optic network over the past six years. Lite Access said that it will install approximately 8,500 metres of additional fibre optic cable, connecting Delta sites in Tilbury to the new Boundary Bay Fire Hall, in order to extend the existing network and provide high capacity services to city facilities.
"We are delighted to be returning to the City of Delta and working in the community again,” said Lite Access CEO Carlo Shimoon. “We are proud to have reached a point where the Company is recognized for its quality building and delivery of projects on time and on budget. Delta, like other cities, communities and municipalities in the province, has been building and extending its fibre optic network over the past several years and has approved the use of our products and construction services."
