PETERBOROUGH, Ont. — Tech supplier Lindsay Broadband today announced it has promoted Jonathan Haight (pictured) to senior vice-president of worldwide business development.
Previously, Haight was the company’s vice-president of U.S. sales and business development. In his new role, he will continue to oversee the U.S. market, while assuming a larger corporate role focusing on worldwide strategic partnerships, new markets and new product exploration, says the news release.
Prior to joining Lindsay Broadband in 2007, Haight held a variety of roles at Atlanta-based EGT, including director of corporate sales, major MSO account manager and regional director of sales for the Northeast region of the U.S. Prior to EGT, Haight held positions in sales and engineering at Motorola, Scientific-Atlanta, BarcoNet and Cheetah Technologies. In addition to sales management, Haight has a background in network engineering and project management.
“Promoting Jonathan is the latest step in the continuous growth and expansion of Lindsay Broadband,” said David Atman, Lindsay’s president, in the news release. “Jonathan has been with Lindsay for 13 years focusing on increasing the exposure and sales of Lindsay’s products throughout the U.S. During his tenure U.S. sales showed a dramatic increase with consistent year-over-year revenue growth in the MSO market. His wealth of experience will continue to make him a valuable team member as we continue to expand our customer-driven product development of next generation technologies and network solutions.”
