Lindsay Broadband partners with APSI for powering solutions and services


PETERBOROUGH, Ont. and RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif. — Tech equipment supplier Lindsay Broadband and California-based Advanced Powering Services Inc. (APSI) announced Tuesday they have entered into a two-way agreement to resell their powering solutions and services to customers worldwide.

Currently, Lindsay Broadband’s LEON (Lindsay Ever on Networks) powering solutions include hybrid fibre-coaxial (HFC) network standby UPS power supplies, network non-standby power supplies, customer premise UPS systems, and small cell powering solutions. With this reseller agreement, APSI adds its Voltronix lithium-ion battery product line and service/repair facilities to support Lindsay’s solutions for the communications industries, says the news release.

“Lindsay Broadband is thrilled to be working together with APSI to provide customers with a full offering of powering solutions including products, services and repairs,” said David Atman, president of Lindsay Broadband, in the release. “Lindsay’s extensive design and engineering experience in combination with APSI’s superior service levels will supply operators with cost-effective, quality powering solutions.”

APSI CEO Joe Lusker added: “We look forward to working with Lindsay Broadband by supporting their products as an OEM repair group, and collaborating on a number of future endeavours. This alliance underscores the commitment of both companies to improve network reliability for our customers.”
