WINNIPEG – MTS Allstream has doubled the pace of its high speed Internet Light service. The download speed now available to all customers with the service is now up to 256 Kbps, the company has announced. "As content on the Internet becomes richer, consumers want higher speeds to take advantage of it," said Kelvin Shepherd, president consumer markets, MTS Allstream. "MTS residential customers can choose between three different speed and pricing options." In addition to light, MTS offers "Lightning" with download speeds up to 5 Mbps and "Lightning MAX" with download speeds up to 7 Mbps. www.mts.ca
