Leonard Asper moving to Toronto: report

TORONTO – What once was unfathomable for CanWest's CEO is becoming reality. Leonard Asper is moving to Toronto, according to The Toronto Star today. CanWest founder, the late Izzy Asper often spoke of how it was easy and preferable to do business from the company's headquarters in Winnipeg, sometimes gleefully thumbing his nose at the Big Smoke. However, his son, current CEO Leonard, has apparently found it a bit more difficult and is moving his family to Toronto to a new home in North Rosedale, says the Star story.
