Lee receives award for 'distinguished service'

TORONTO - Bernadette Lee was the unanimous choice for this year's RTNDA Distinguished Service Award, the organization announced. The annual honour recognizes an individual who is deemed to have rendered exemplary service to the benefit of both Radio-Television News Directors’ Association (RTNDA) and broadcast journalism in Canada. Lee is the vice president of products and partners for the global newswire service Marketwire. A member of RTNDA since 2003, she has served as its sponsorship committee chair since 2006.
