Lambton County fibre build continues progress

LAMBTON COUNTY — The Ontario government today reiterated its commitment to connect every region of the province to high-speed Internet by the end of 2025 with the announcement that the construction of a new $6-million broadband network in Lambton County is expected to be completed by December 2022. Brooke Telecom was awarded the contract for the project and $3.3 million in funding through the Southwestern Integrated Fibre Technology (SWIFT) organization in August 2020.
