Krop takes on station manager, news director role at Global BC

VANCOUVER - Global News has named veteran journalist Jill Krop as station manager and news director for Global BC, effective immediately.Krop, pictured, began her career at CKPG in Prince George in 1986 before being hired as the first evening news anchor at STV Regina, now a Global station. From there, she went east to Halifax and ASN before returning to home province at CHEK TV in Victoria in 1994.
