Knowledge Network goes HD

BURNABY – B.C. public broadcaster Knowledge Network has kicked off its new new broadcast season with the launch of Knowledge HD, which will roll out across the province throughout the fall.  The HD servers and equipment were funded in part by an initial capital grant from the province of British Columbia and revenues from BBC Kids, the national children’s subscription channel owned and operated by Knowledge Network in partnership with BBC Worldwide. “Knowledge Network is continuously improving our service by responding to the changing needs of our audience”, said Rudy Buttignol, president and CEO of Knowledge Network Corporation, in the...
