MONTREAL – Stingray Digital’s Karaoke Channel has finalized an agreement with Walt Disney Records to distribute Disney songs through its multiple services and products including video-on-demand, on-line streaming, download services and mobile applications.
More than 150 karaoke songs will be added to the library, including songs from hit Disney Channel shows and movies such as High School Musical and Hannah Montana plus classic films like Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Mary Poppins and Cars.
“We are so excited to add Disney songs to our karaoke library, so that families and singers of all ages will enjoy singing songs from the world’s best known entertainment company,” said Stingray Digital president, Eric Boyko, in the announcement. “Fans can access these great new songs at The Karaoke Channel, whether they use the Video on Demand service, The Karaoke Channel Online service or the download store.”
The Disney songs will also be added in the coming weeks to the Karaoke Channel Mobile app (iPhone/iPod touch) also available soon for Android phones.
