Pattison Media Ltd – Merritt Division, CKMQ, is seeking to add a broadcast journalist to anchor our news department.
The ideal candidate is a radio news presenter with excellent reading and writing skills. We are searching for an individual who can produce stories with creativity and professionalism. Social media skills will be relied upon to develop and build our online presence.
You will produce and anchor weekday news for our radio station while keeping our Q101.ca website up to date with the latest news from our region and beyond.
Your qualifications will include:
• A positive attitude and coachable disposition are a must!
• Editorial, reading, and writing skills.
• Being adept at all delivery platforms, including engagement on the web and social media.
• Broadcast Journalism degree or diploma or equivalent experience is preferred.
