Jeanne Pratt last week was appointed Interim Commissioner of Competition for a term of one year or until a new Commissioner of Competition has been appointed, following Matthew Boswell’s early departure from the Competition Bureau last December.
Based in Ottawa, Pratt has been serving as acting commissioner since Dec. 18. Her previous role was senior deputy commissioner of the Competition Bureau’s mergers and monopolistic practices branch.
