ITU launches guidelines to help countries develop emergency telecom plans

GENEVA — The current global coronavirus crisis demonstrates the importance of countries being prepared to respond to disaster scenarios, and to that end, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has launched new guidelines for the development and implementation of National Emergency Telecommunication Plans.
