LOUISVILLE, Colo. – The main International Telecommunications Union (ITU) study group for broadband services last week approved Internet Protocol and advanced HDTV proposals during meetings held at the headquarters of CableLabs in Colorado. ITU is the leading United Nations agency for information and communication technologies.
