Iristel, Ice Wireless, suspends data speeds throttling

MARKHAM — In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Iristel and Ice Wireless have removed data speed restrictions for their customers, effective immediately. Customers do not need to contact Iristel or Ice Wireless for the change to take effect, the company says in its news release. Iristel notes most Unlimited Wireless plans already have unlimited monthly data but industry practice when customers reach 10 GB in monthly consumption is for download speeds to be throttled back.
