IP Trunking first from MTS Allstream


TORONTO - MTS Allstream used the Canadian Telecom Summit to launch its IP Trunking service. The Winnipeg-based provincial telco and national alternative provider is the first Canadian service provider to offer this service on a national basis, and operates the only MPLS network that has enabled IP Trunking, says the release. With IP Trunking, businesses can now extend IP network capabilities beyond the enterprise with a single, secure, reliable connection to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN).
