Interest high in 2011 SCTE Cable-Tec Expo


EXTON, PA – With three months still to go until SCTE Cable-Tec Expo in November, the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers said that interest in the popular event is outpacing last year’s levels.

Exhibit floor sales that have already surpassed the 90% mark; exhibitors have increased by almost 10%, including a rise in first-time exhibitors of more than 25%; and, early registration is trending ahead of 2010 numbers by more than 15%.

“While our focus has been on building a best-in-class lineup for our opening session and workshops, we have been watching our numbers with great anticipation,” said Terry Cordova, chairman of the Cable-Tec Expo 2011 program committee and SVP and CTO of Suddenlink. “Exhibitors, sponsors and attendees who are committed to driving the future of our industry are investing the time, money and corporate resources needed to make Cable-Tec Expo 2011 an event that should not be missed.”

Following a capacity management symposium and select early panels on November 14, the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo will officially open on November 15 and run through November 17, 2011 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.  Click here for more information or to register.
