Intel expands 5G network infrastructure offerings

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Chip maker Intel this week unveiled an expanded lineup of hardware, software, and other solutions for network infrastructure as it tries to take advantage of telecommunications industry opportunities presented by the transition to 5G. The company believes this next wave of network transformation represents a US$25 billion silicon opportunity by 2023.
