Insight dips into NFL for talent

TORONTO – Insight Sports has hired Craig Purcell as president, sports and entertainment, a brand new position for the company.

He will begin his duties with Insight Sports effective immediately.

“I’m thrilled to be returning back to Canada to join Insight Sports,” said Purcell, in a press release. “After spending the past 15 years overseeing the sales and marketing operations for a handful of professional sports teams, I’m looking forward to pursuing new challenges in the broadcast and entertainment side of the industry with the goal of strategically developing Insight Sports’ current and future properties.”

Insight also owns and operates specialty services such as GolTV, World Fishing Network and Casino and Gaming TV, and has minority positions in some others. Purcell will not oversee those.
