IDC buys Tiernan's radio and TV divisions

OTTAWA and SAN DIEGO - International Datacasting Corporation (IDC) has acquired select product lines and technology from Comtech Tiernan Video in a cash deal worth US $2.03 million.Ottawa-based IDC provides solutions for the distribution of broadband content via satellite. Tiernan supplies products for the international broadcast industry such as digital video compression and decompression products and satellite audio and data broadcast equipment.
